Ingredients:
2 tbsp matcha powder
5.5 oz (150 g) strawberry purée
1 cup (250 ml) whole milk
1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
Directions:
Prepare the matcha base:
- Dissolve
matcha powder in a small amount of warm
milk until smooth.
- Add the remaining milk,
cream, and
sugar, stirring until fully combined.
Add the strawberry purée:
- In a chilled container, alternately layer the
matcha mixture and
strawberry purée to create swirls.
- Use a spoon or knife to gently swirl the layers together without fully mixing.
Churn the ice cream:
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until creamy.
Serve:
- Scoop into bowls and garnish with
sliced strawberries and a sprinkle of
matcha powder for a beautiful presentation.
