  • ๐Ÿฌ 40 g granulated sugar
  • ๐ŸŒŸ Whipped cream

  1. ๐Ÿ’ Cook the Cherries: In a saucepan, combine the cherries and granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat until the cherries break down and form a compote-like texture. Lightly blend the mixture if desired and let it cool completely.
  2. ๐Ÿช Prepare the Cookies: Chop the cookies with a knife. Divide three-quarters of the chopped cookies evenly into the bottom of the verrines.
  3. ๐Ÿ’ Assemble the Verrines: Add a layer of the cooled cherry compote over the cookies in each verrine. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. ๐ŸŒŸ Serve: Just before serving, top each verrine with whipped cream and sprinkle the remaining chopped cookies on top.
